Nikon Coolpix 4200 New botanical specimens

In June 2004, when my days in my sister's house Covadonga in San Diego, California, bought the Nikon Coolpix 4200 has been by my side until today. Resulted from a much higher quality to that promised its price, its size and seemingly above all practical vocation. From then to date has been a faithful companion, accurate, occasionally surprising.
If it were not for the cover of the receptacle where it fits the battery takes about two years threatening break, as happened to my identical brother with a camera, you could say that has been preserved in perfect condition.
Although I have expressed my general position regarding landscape photography (see link at the bottom of this article), nothing like one of the endless views from Asturias, for example, I took in April last year from the Mirador del Fito, in the Sierra del Sueve to confirm the virtues of a camera.
A month ago, on the beach, the finger smeared with sunscreen someone inadvertently left a fingerprint on your lens alarming. As I did not realize at least a couple of occasions I photos with her in that state: a meal in my house and the number of botanical specimens that made the delivery of the Century breeze from the previous week.
For an unforgivable mistake in the case of food left 400 ASA also had tasted the day before, and ended up spoiling the pictures ... For their part, botanical specimens, as they could tell who saw with minimal detail, appeared as halos and out of focus. The friend who told me how to fix the problem believes that it may be time to buy something "more powerful" well said, and I think he's right.
However, once you accept the possibility of replacing it, as I thought about it for the first time in retrospect, as happens to healthy men is suddenly struck by death and a second before you die includes images of his life, went through my head the photos that I like the many I've done over seven years to bring the camera everywhere. A somewhat random selection of them is the reason for the delivery of this week .
