Wording For New Father

Makeup and Beauty (What can be done to Muslim women beautify and why not?)

While the Muslim woman is called to cover out, no forbidden beauty, but rather, Islam is strongly recommended that it is settled and look good to her husband.

What can you use the Muslimah (Muslim woman) to embellish?

• Use cosmetics (such as: base, lipstick, etc.. As long as these components are not made haram (illegal)).

• Use khol.

• Use henna.

• Use nail polish (as long as they remove before making wudu (ablution) or guhsul (ablution) because if not removed, the water will not reach the nails and then the wudu is incomplete or guhsul).

• Dyeing the hair (if not as they do resemble unbelievers if you have gray hair dye is sunnah but should avoid the use of black dye, recommended Katma stained with Hennah or it is also best avoided with many chemical dyes as these end up destroying the hair and it is important to make sure that none of the components are haram).

• Cutting hair (provided they do not resemble the haircut of a man).

• Smooth frizz.

• Plucking a mustache or beard or hair on the cheeks.

• Shaving the pubic hair (this is required every 40 days, but may be less if desired)

• Shaving tips body (arms, thighs, legs)

• Use jewelry (if you're using a piece of jewelry that is too tight and does not allow skin contact with water is better to remove it when you make wudu or guhsul, since otherwise the ablution will not be considered valid.)

• Use perfume (but can not use it when leaving home).

heels • Use non-high exaggerated or draw attention.

What not to do the Muslimah to embellish?

• Use cosmetics with haram ingredients.

• Plucking eyebrows.

• tattoos.

• Letting the nails grow (is sunnah trim them every week and according to another version every 40 days)

• Undergoing Plastic Surgery (Unless for health reasons rather than aesthetic, for example if any part of the body has been disfigured by an accident).

• Use wig, hair extensions, false eyelashes or eyebrows.

• Use artificial nails it is recommended no action.

Note:
Anything that prevents water contact with the skin or guhsul wudu must be removed (for example, cosmetic test water should be removed).

In general, we must remember that the makeup and ornaments can be displayed only to the spouses and those who are our mahram (those with whom we have blood ties or membership that can not married), otherwise it becomes something haram (unlawful). We may also use women-only meetings.
